Women in AI (WAI) is "a global network of female experts and professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence working towards gender-inclusive AI that benefits a global society." The prestigious WAI Awards 2021 recognise the excellent role of women in the development of AI in Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Sandra Johnson, ACLM past President, is honoured to be a Finalist in the AI in Law category.
Sandra has great enthusiasm for research and development of AI in law, ethics and its application in medicine. She has presented at ACLM's Annual Scientific Meeting and authored articles for the College on the topics related to the law and ethics of AI in health. Sandra is ACLM's representative for the Australian Alliance on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (AAAIH), of which our College is recognised as a peak body.
A Gala Dinner will be held on 26 March 2021 at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art to announce the finalists and winners, which will be presented by Julie Bishop.
