ACLM Examination – Changes to scheduling and grading
If you are ready to sit the ACLM Examination in your pathway to Membership or Fellowship, please take particular notice of this announcement.
ACLM's membership is growing and in recent years we have seen an increase in candidates working towards Membership or Fellowship. This means that each year we have an increasing number of members who sit the Examination. In response to this growth, we are announcing some changes to the examination scheduling process. These changes will allow both exam candidates and markers to plan for the year ahead.
Scheduling Changes
Beginning in 2025, ACLM will schedule two fixed examination blocks per year: one in February and the other in July. All examination candidates will be required to complete their exams during these blocks. Marking of the batch of completed exams will occur following the two block periods.
To assist with the transition, we will maintain flexible scheduling of exams up until the 7th February 2025. All exams completed between now and the 7th February will be marked following the 7th February regardless of the date they are completed.
For any candidates who do not sit the exam by the 7th February, the next opportunity to sit the exam will be the July 2025 exam block.
Delivery Changes
Beginning in July 2025, the exam delivery may change from one 24-hour period, to a series of shorter periods for each part of the exam. More information about this change will be communicated early next year.
Grading Changes
A small adjustment has been made to the pass mark requirement. To pass the examination, candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% overall, with a minimum of 50% for Part A, Part B, and Part C individually.
If you have completed all other requirements of Membership or Fellowship and would like to schedule your exam prior to 7th February 2025, contact ACLM to arrange your exam time.
